A bit about me

Designer. Improvisor. Storyteller.

I’m a recent graduate from Stanford’s interdisciplinary Product Design program. Long before my time at Stanford, I fell in love with storytelling in the theater and its ability to inspire empathy and spark connections between people. I found my passion for design when I took my first d. school class at Stanford and realized that design at its best leverages empathy and storytelling through research to understand and solve the world’s pressing problems with creative solutions. In my work I hope to use design and research tools to bridge the gap between mission and impact to create a more inclusive and ethical world.

At the moment, I work as an all-around product and innovation specialist at EdTech start-up, Sparkademy, based in Zurich, Switzerland. On a daily basis, I think about how to use online education to teach innovation, design, and creative thinking to empower changemakers in big organizations.

My work extends to the time I spend facilitating improv classes and workshops where I get to teach students how to embrace their creativity, make mistakes, and support others on stage and in life. As a long time improvisor and actor, I love the process of working with others to create honest and unexpected stories that bring an audience to the edge of their seat.
